Our Practice
We focus our practice on matters involving:
- Chapter 7 bankruptcy. We will help you determine whether you qualify to permanently discharge your debts under Chapter 7. We will carefully explain which debts can and cannot be eliminated in a Chapter 7 proceeding, as well as which assets you can keep.
- Chapter 13 bankruptcy. If you don't qualify for a Chapter 7 filing or want to repay your creditors, we can help you restructure your debt under Chapter 13. We will help you put together a reorganization plan to submit to your creditors, and will review all repayment plans you receive to ensure they are in your best interests.
- Small business bankruptcy. We assist small business owners with proceedings to reorganize debt under Chapter 11. We will handle all paperwork throughout the process and will be your advocate in meetings with creditors, the bankruptcy trustee, and the court.
- Foreclosure defense. If you are behind on your mortgage and face foreclosure proceedings, we can help you take steps to keep your house. We will work directly with your lender to try to renegotiate the terms of your loan, and can help you use a personal bankruptcy filing to stop foreclosure proceedings. We will also handle any disputes involving the violation of the Truth-in-Lending Act by your bank or mortgage company.
